There are different sub-styles within the classic Sedu hair style. If you want a particular look that you have seen on a favorite celebrity, it is advisable to obtain a picture of them from a magazine or off the internet with this hairstyle. That way, you will be able to style your own hair in a similar fashion and get the same great look.
The Sedu HairstyleThe standard Sedu technique, is to style the hair straight all the way to the bottom using the flat straight technique. Around the face, the hair can be feathered in towards the face or the hair can be left parallel to the face dropping onto the shoulders. This is all dependant upon hair length and thickness. Some people prefer to have a soft curl at the end of the hair to achieve a more dynamic look. This is simple to do and will give a lift at the bottom of the hair line. Whilst adding body, this technique can be used for people whose hair is thinner or finer as it will achieve a fuller look than just straight. Another technique is the flip out or flip in. This takes the standard Sedu flat style and adds a more interesting finish. The ends of the hair will have a gentle flip giving added character and style. All these techniques are outlined below. The best way to achieve the ideal look for you is to experiment. Get a set of Sedu hair straighteners and have some fun. Any style is temporary, giving you plenty of chances to get it just right.
Flat StraightTake a section of hair about 2 inches in length and gently hold it between the plates of your Sedu hair straighteners. Squeeze the handles whilst gliding through the hair from the roots right the way down to the bottom. For a perfectly straight look, maintain a straight line until you have come to the end of the hair. Alternatively you may want to go for a soft curl. Again, take a section of hair about 2 inches in length and gently hold it between the plates of your Sedu hair straighteners. Squeeze the handles whilst gliding through the hair from the roots right the way down to the bottom. When you get to the bottom, turn the straighteners wrapping the last section of hair around. This will leave you with a soft curl under. If a soft curl is not for you, try a flip out or flip in.
Once again, take a section of hair about 2 inches in length and gently hold it between the plates of your Sedu hair straighteners. Squeeze the handles whilst gliding through the hair from the roots right the way down to the bottom. This time, when you get to the bottom turn the straighteners away from you through a half turn. Do not wrap the last section of hair around. Just let the hair pass through as the straighteners are turned away from you. This will leave you with a flip out.
Flip InThis is exactly the same as a flip out but at the end, turn the straighteners towards you.
